Social care and population health
This research group unites a number of research programmes that are all concerned with niche populations from both a health and social care perspective.
Research programmes
Social care and population health encompasses the research programmes:
- Active ageing
- History of health and social care
- Midwifery and women's health
- Social research with Deaf people
These programmes all focus on the intersection of context and population concerns with the nature and quality of service provision. Lifecourse and historical perspectives are also germane to the research agenda with the impact of research studies on the improvement of service access and service provision being a shared priority.
